the beginning design states all the way through construction and
extending on to the service contracts in the completed facility, DMI
provides the complete mechanical expertise necessary for all types
of commercial buildings. This
ability to offer single-source responsibility for plumbing,
sheetmetal and piping installation, means we have the capability and
knowledge to begin our involvement with system design and selection.
From there we create shop drawings, fabricate materials and even
begin installation while other building plans develop which is a
distinct advantage in bringing an office building project in on time
and on budget. Our design / build capability and extensive use of
CAD technology provides faster turnaround and permanent as-built documentation
for tenant finish work at an economical cost without sacrificing
quality.

and a number of satellite offices that they have had to maintain to house their ever expanding staff. The construction of this project was extremely difficult due to site constraints in a busy downtown area and dramatic grade changes. |

This multi-million dollar plumbing project consisted of a 427,000 square foot 14 story office tower, plus a penthouse and 129,000 square foot, six story-parking garage. When this project went over the owner's budget, DMI put our value engineering skills to work and along with the construction manager and design team we were able to redesign specific portions of the mechanical system, which in the end resulted in over a 10% savings to the owner on their
mechanical system. |

This contract negotiated by DMI consisted of a ten story, 310,000 square foot office tower. In addition to DMI furnishing and installing the basic Plumbing and HVAC associated with the construction of this project, DMI was also
responsible to furnish and install a state of the art 240 ton cooling system comprising 22 Liebert computer room air conditioning and humidification systems to environmentally control the hundreds of sophisticated computers required to keep the state lottery system up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
